    1. The writing was flat, the dialogue off, the characters unsympathetic, the action unrealistic and the story one-dimensional.The only reason I did not stop reading this book was because I had just done that with Out of Africa, and as I very rarely do not finish books, it felt wrong to do it twice in a row.

    2. Not good. This book had a lot of potential but didn't quite make it. The characters were not very real or likable. Their lives were not very real and a lot of the situations were very contrived. The movie concept was a good idea however a lot of the references were obscure and not explained. I would not recommend this book.

    3. The characters did not come alive, it would have been way better is instead of Chris and Becca- the story would have revolved around Scarlett and Andy- at least they had some life and purpose to them.
