    1. Review forthcoming on a-reader-lives-a-thousand-liveI received a copy of Never Coming Home in exchange for my review. Rachel has always believed that each of her sons has a soul mate, the one person that will complete them. After the death of her husband, Robert, Rachel decided that it is time to tell her sons her own story, and the fact that her soul mate wasn't actually their father, but their best friend Thomas. Though young, Rachel knew that Thomas was the one man in life for her, and planne [...]

    2. check out this review and others atTwinsietalkFacebook/Twinsietalk@TwinsietalkI received this book from the author for an honest opinion.Well after reading book 1, I was very excited to read Rachel's story, We got to see why she was so angry at Davis enlisting in the military in the first book after reading this story. We also understand why Rachel and her husband were not living under the same roof after reading this story.Rachel is an amazing character. She has endured ALOT of things in her yo [...]

    3. 3 StarsI liked that we could have a tiny bit of a backstory for the parents. But I felt like it didn't touch on why they were separated. In a since I guess the story is more realistic than most romance stories are because to me it seems like Rachel and Robert settled for one another. But here's my issue, why does Thomas have to be the love of her life? He may have been her first for everything, but does that ultimately mean he has to be it? I personally think the true actual love story is Rachel [...]

    4. This review is based on the ARC provided by the author and/or the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.3.5This was a very fast read. Written from the mom's POV. She goes on to tell how it all began. Why this series became a series.

    5. If there ever was a sexy series that could be best described as "sweet," The Home Series that Paloma Beck conceived would be it. Yes, it's hot, steamy, and extremely erotic, but beneath it all is the simple story of two people who are perfect for each other and the close family who is brought together again by their patriarch's untimely death. There is romance in ordinary life and it's captured within these books.Read the rest of the review and join the tour: Blog Tour, eARC Review + #GiveawayTh [...]

    6. TISSUES.n't start this book without them! This isn't a fairy tale story it's real. The emotions that this book brought out in me were visceral and messyey were real. I loved that this look at how Robert and Rachel came together wasn't sugar-coated, it was honest and told with more emotion in 50 pages than some full length novels that I have read. The quote in the book from J.D. Salinger's Catcher in the Rye, "Turn your scars into stars", was perfect for this story.

    7. Never Coming Home is the prequel to the three book series by the author about the Porter Brothers. This gives the story of their mother. It is a quick 58 page novella. This novella had romance, sadness, happiness, steamy sex and more. If this is your style of books, you will probably want to read this and the rest of the series.* I was given a copy of this book from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

    8. This is a short love story that is very heartfelt. The mother sits with her kids and tells them her love story. You are quickly drawn into the story. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review via NETGALLEY.

    9. i think this story could have just been added to coming home. this actually felt more complete than coming home did and answers a few questions from that book. i would really like davis' and henry's stories to be complete novels because i think the potential for great things is right there.

    10. Never Coming Home: Porter Brothers, Book 2: Paloma BeckThis book gives back story of the Porter brother's parents. It helped explain some things from book 1. I liked this better than the first book. It made me want to listen to the other books, that are nowhere to be foundt. The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed by Kim Park."I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator."

    11. Loved how this author took this story and made it into a reality type, so to speak, it feels like you're sitting there listenin' to mamma tell the story herself. Great way of doing this book. And believe me when I say this book will draw you in!*received for an honest review*

    12. A great little love story read this straight after book one and i didnt put it down till i was finished it i really like reading rachels story and explained a few things from the first book,a great series that you should all read
